The Teamsters National Freight Industry Negotiating Committee (TNFINC) is meeting with local leaders in Washington to review contract proposals for the new national agreement at T-Force Freight.
Under the leadership of National Freight Director John A. Murphy, the contract campaign at T-Force Freight has been member-driven and focused on workers’ input. The negotiating committee is made up of leaders from around the country as well as rank-and-filers who are committed to securing a new national agreement that raises standards and reclaims respect for members of the Freight Division.
“Our negotiating team will never back down when it comes to getting our members what they deserve,” Murphy said. “The days of go-along to get-along are over. We have assembled a topnotch negotiating team with the experience and knowhow to take on the employer and put workers first. We have a plan and a vision focused entirely on getting our members what they deserve.”
Teamsters at T-Force are united for a strong contract. The national contract covers approximately 11,500 Teamsters at T-Force Freight and expires July 31, 2023.
